ECASBA’s European Seminar returned to Brussels for 2023, taking place at the NH Berlaymont Hotel on 20th June.

The seminar programme covered traditional subjects such as customs developments and single window projects and, for the first time this year, the delegates also discussed the abuse of the supply chain for the purposes of drug smuggling and other illicit trades.

The delegates were joined by representatives of Commission Directorates DG-MOVE and DG-TAXUD as well as representatives of the European Community Shipowners’ Association (ECSA) and of Danish Shipping.
