Frequently Asked Questions

A set of frequently asked questions, providing more detailed information about the meeting, hotel, and local conditions, are available here.

Emirates Airline is a Supporter and Official Carrier for the 2017 Annual Meeting

We are pleased to advise that following discussions between the President of the Dubai Shipping Agents Association, Mr. Saadi Rais, and senior management at Emirates Airlines, under the patronage of H.E. Shaikh Ahmed Bin Saeed Al Maktoum – President of Dubai Civil Aviation and Emirates Airline Group, Emirates has agreed to be a supporter and the official carrier for the 2017 FONASBA Annual Meeting.

As a result of this agreement, delegates and partners are able to obtain a discount on air travel between “Emirates gateway cities” and Dubai for the purposes of attending the meeting only. A gateway city is defined as being one from which Emirates operates direct flights to Dubai so it may be necessary for some delegates to book a separate ticket to travel from their home destination to the nearest gateway city. The discounts are available on Economy and Business Class fares booked for travel to and from Dubai during the period 2nd October to 2nd November. Please note that Emirates do not offer Premium Economy class.

Full details of how to book discounted fares with Emirates (and the relevant terms and conditions) will be sent to delegates after they have registered to participate in the meeting.

We are very grateful to Saadi Rais for enabling this agreement and to H.E. Shaikh Ahmed Bin Saeed Al Maktoum and to Emirates for their generous support for the Annual Meeting.
