Delegate and partner registration and hotel booking requests should be made using the secure online form here. Please note that the information necessary to book your accommodation will be collected from the registration form. There is no need to provide this separately. If a delegate wishes to make their own accommodation arrangements, please state this on the registration form so that we do not book accommodation for you at the Intercontinental.

All delegates will be invoiced for their hotel accommodation (daily rate only) and registration fees by the Dubai Shipping Agents’ Association after their registration has been confirmed. Full payment details will be provided at that time. Settlement of any additional hotel charges will be made by delegates on departure in the normal manner.

Registration fees, hotel accommodation and taxes will be payable in AED and we would recommend that where possible, all payments are made in AED to minimise additional charges and/or deductions. Please also instruct your bank to remit the full amount, with all charges debited back to the remitter. For those delegates unable to remit AED, the option of settling the fees and costs in Euros is also available, the current indicative exchange rates stated above are for guidance only.

Please note, however, that any charges incurred due to exchange rate variations, bank charges or other deductions from the amount received by DSAA (irrespective of whether the payment is in AED or Euros) will require to be settled by the delegate in cash on registration at the start of the meeting.

The closing date for booking hotel accommodation at the conference rates (shown above) will be Thursday 30th August. Any bookings received after this date may be charged at the hotel’s applicable rate for non-conference bookings. All such bookings may also be subject to availability.

Emirates Airline is a Supporter and Official Carrier for the 2017 Annual Meeting

We are pleased to advise that following discussions between the President of the Dubai Shipping Agents Association, Mr. Saadi Rais, and senior management at Emirates Airlines, under the patronage of H.E. Shaikh Ahmed Bin Saeed Al Maktoum – President of Dubai Civil Aviation and Emirates Airline Group, Emirates has agreed to be a supporter and the official carrier for the 2017 FONASBA Annual Meeting.

As a result of this agreement, delegates and partners are able to obtain a discount on air travel between “Emirates gateway cities” and Dubai for the purposes of attending the meeting only. A gateway city is defined as being one from which Emirates operates direct flights to Dubai so it may be necessary for some delegates to book a separate ticket to travel from their home destination to the nearest gateway city. The discounts are available on Economy and Business Class fares booked for travel to and from Dubai during the period 2nd October to 2nd November. Please note that Emirates do not offer Premium Economy class.

Full details of how to book discounted fares with Emirates (and the relevant terms and conditions) will be sent to delegates after they have registered to participate in the meeting.

We are very grateful to Saadi Rais for enabling this agreement and to H.E. Shaikh Ahmed Bin Saeed Al Maktoum and to Emirates for their generous support for the Annual Meeting.
